Mount Vernon, Washington, USA: Skagit County is set to organize a public community meeting in Bay View on Thursday, November 12, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The meeting will take place at Bay View Civic Hall, located at 12615 C. Street, Mount Vernon, Washington 98273.
The meeting is free and open to all members of the public. However, residents wishing to participate should note that the meeting will be held exclusively in person, with no provision for online or remote participation.
The Skagit County Commissioners will attend the gathering along with representatives from several key county departments, including Planning & Development Services, Public Health, Public Works, Emergency Management, the Assessor’s Office and the Sheriff’s Office. Officials will provide updates on ongoing county projects and respond to questions and concerns raised by residents.
The programme will begin with opening remarks from the County Commissioners and Skagit County staff, followed by an interactive question-and-answer session with members of the audience.
According to the County, its annual community meetings are primarily intended to provide an opportunity for local residents to express their views, share priorities, offer feedback on ongoing projects and administrative processes, and raise matters of public concern directly with county officials.
Such meetings also provide an opportunity for government representatives to listen to community members and better understand local needs and expectations.
For further information, interested residents may contact the Skagit County Commissioners’ Office at (360) 416-1300 or email Jenn Rogers, Communications and Engagement Manager, at jrogers@skagitcountywa.gov.
