Emm Aar International School celebrated Diwali with great enthusiasm and festive fervour. A special assembly was organised to highlight the historical and cultural significance of Diwali in India. Students were informed about the traditional belief that Diwali marks the return of Lord Shri Ram, Mata Sita and Lakshman Ji to Ayodhya after completing 14 years of exile. The people of Ayodhya welcomed them by lighting earthen lamps (diyas). The assembly also highlighted the significance of Bandi Chhor Divas in Sikhism. On this occasion, students presented devotional Shabad Gayan and recited the Hanuman Chalisa with reverence. These presentations created a spiritually enriching atmosphere and conveyed a beautiful message of India’s religious diversity and communal harmony.

An Inter-House Rangoli Making Competition was organised under the leadership of Principal Mr. Rajendra Kumar. The event was coordinated by Mrs. Rupinder Kaur, with the special guidance and support of the four House Masters – Mrs. Poonam, Mrs. Kamaljeet, Mrs. Ekta and Mrs. Maninder.
Students from all four houses – Manik, Rattan, Patel and Gandhi – created beautiful and attractive rangolis, showcasing their creativity and artistic talent.
The competition was judged by renowned Chandigarh-based gynaecologist Dr. Rupali Tandon, who appreciated the creativity, dedication and artistic skills displayed by all the participating houses.
Patel House secured first position in the competition under the leadership of Mrs. Poonam. The school management appreciated the efforts of all participants and House Masters and congratulated the winning house. The event promoted cultural awareness, creativity, teamwork and the spirit of healthy competition among students.
